How can I visit the Sistine Chapel?
The Sistine Chapel is included in the Vatican Museum and is one of the items in the museum. You can only visit the Sistine Chapel when you have a ticket for the Vatican Museum.
Why do I need to select timeslots?
Rome is one of the most visited cities in the world. Only a maximum amount of people can enter the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica and Vatican Museum at the same time. When you select a timeslot you make a reservation for your access at that moment and the museum makes sure you have a pleasant stay inside without having too much crowd inside. We advise to book your tickets in advance with the Rome Tourist Card so you avoid waiting outside for hours. After you enter the museum/attraction you can stay as long you like.
How do should I select the timeslots?
After your reservation you will get an email with a link. When you open that link you can choose what you want to visit based the availability of the attractions.
Why can I select different types of Colosseum visits and what is the difference between them?
There are 2 entrances at the Colosseum. One for visitors without tickets and one for visitors with ´reserved entry´. With the Rome Tourist Card you enter with a reserved entry. The different Colosseum options that you will see during the reservation process are the available options.
Option #1 – Colosseum Fast Track Tickets with Audioguide (including Roman Forum and Palatine Hill)

Option #2 - Colosseum Fast Track Tickets with Videoguide (including Roman Forum and Palatine Hill)
You will also get the Fast Track Tickets and you can pick up the Videoguide (provided by the Colosseum) at the Colosseum. The Videoguide is available in Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Portuguese
Option #3 - Colosseum Fast Track Tickets with visit to the Marmertime Prison where Saint Peter was imprisoned (including Roman Forum and Palatine Hill)
This Colosseum Combi includes the Fast Track Tickets to the Colosseum but you will also get access to the Marmertime Prison where Saint Peter was imprisoned. This is very close to the Colosseum. This Colosseum combi is provided by the Marmartime Prison organisation and therefore you need to pick up your Colosseum tickets at the Marmartime Prison first (which is a 15 minutes walk to the Colosseum).
How does it work when visiting the Colosseum with children?
The Colosseum has special entrance rules regarding children. In the entrance gateway, you need to identify the age of children at the Ticket Desk which is located in this special entrance gate. This will slow your access inside the Colosseum but it is the only way to get inside. Although you are always quicker to get inside when you have tickets rather than when you don’t have tickets booked in advance.
How do I know which bus to take to Rome from the airport?
First, after your reservation you can let us know which airport you arrive (Ciampino or Fiumicino). The bus departs all day from the airport to Central Station of Rome. You can find the bus schedules here:

When you arrive at Termini you can take the bus, metro or taxi to your accommodation. You can also get off at the Vatican. It will take approximately 40 minutes to get from the airport to the city and the busses departure each 25 minutes (less frequent at night). The service is geared around flight departures and arrivals.

Does the Rome Tourist Card include public transportation?
The Rome Tourist Card does not include public transportation in the city, but you can easily buy the Metro Card in stations and hotels or buy it with 20% discount on our discount page.
Can I use the discounts in Rome at the entrance of the attractions?
The discount code can only be used online. The attractions will not accept your discount code at the entrance.

We are more than one person (or group). When we want to reserve the tickets how do we make sure we all get the same entry time?
We recommend to make the reservation all at once or that you coordinate that you book at the same time. The Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica and Vatican Museum &Sistine Chapel attracts many tourists and therefore timeslots can run out quickly.
What do I do when I haven't received my tickets?
After your purchase you will receive in maximum one hour an email with more information about the Tourist Card and where you can select the timeslots for the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica and Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel. Please check your SPAM first when not received. It is possible that this ended up in your SPAM. When you have filled in your time slot preferences you will then receive the tickets within 30 minutes. When not received please check your SPAM again. When not received please contact us at info@ticketbar.eu.
What is the cancellation policy of the Rome Tourist Card?
After your reservation it is not possible to cancel the Rome Tourist Card.
